Our psychiatric care
HAWONS, Inc. offers mental healthcare services in-person and telehealth to adult individuals living in the state of California. HAWONS, Inc. strives to meet and surpass the clients’ expectations in providing a holistic approach to their treatments
A. Psychiatric Evaluation
During this session, which can last from 45 to 90 minutes, your healthcare provider will carefully ask about your symptoms and medical history. At the end of your visit, they will share their thoughts, suggest treatments, and answer any questions you may have. Thus, it will allow you to make an informed decision on how you want to proceed with your treatment.
B. Medication Management
Taking medicine is important for treating mental health problems. Your healthcare provider will work with you to make a plan that’s just for you. This plan might include talking about your feelings sometimes. You’ll decide together which medicine is best for you and how much you need to take to help you feel better mentally.
C. Referrals, if needed
We might suggest supplementary treatments beyond medication. These referrals to other healthcare providers/ specialties may encompass sleep study, psychotherapy, ketamine therapy, repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS), neuropsychological evaluations, participation in clinical studies, as well as primary and specialized healthcare services.
D. Laboratory work and diagnostic tests
These tests are really important for getting the appropriate diagnosis for mental health issues. They help your healthcare provider understand why you’re feeling a certain way. For instance, blood tests can show if other health problems like thyroid issues or low iron are making your mental health worse. Also, some medicines need regular blood tests to make sure they’re safe and working well.
